Foster Grandparent Support
Foster Grandparents serve as mentors in schools, juvenile offender facilities, Head Start centers, child care centers as well as other child-serving community sites. This discretionary grant allows for the foster grandparent to provide service to children with special needs or circumstances that may limit academic, social and emotional development. Anticipated outcomes for the children served include improved academic performance, as well as improved social and emotional well-being.
