The ISD Healthy Solutions: Conflict Resolution Series is a pilot project being introduced to the Teen Parenting Program (TPP) at Truman High School. ISD has identified a need for more comprehensive approaches to supporting the behavioral health needs of our teen parent students through an expansion of the direct supportive, group and peer mediation and conflict resolution services. This project will consist of twelve workshops that explore topics such as identity, perspective, empathy, conflict choices, trauma, resilience and restorative communication for teen parents.
