Intervening Early with Parents and Children
The Intervening Early with Parents and Children program provides screening, referral, teaching and interventions for pregnant and newly parenting women. Referral partners include Healthy Families, Nurses for Newborns, Parents As Teachers, First Steps, mentoring, Pregnancy Resource Center and Head Start. Safe Sleep information is provided to all participants and, through a partnership with Prevention Consultants of Missouri, classes on safety and parenting are also offered. An Early Pregnancy Class that provides information on pregnancy nutrition, substance abuse and use, preterm labor prevention and fetal development is recommended to women who are less than twenty weeks into their pregnancies.

Teen Outreach Program
Teen Outreach Program (TOP) is a nationally replicated, evidence informed model for empowering teens to lead successful lives and build strong communities by increasing healthy behaviors, learning life and decision-making skills and developing a sense of purpose within their community through service learning. The program curriculum addresses risk factors that make teens more vulnerable to pregnancy, dropping out of school, substance abuse and dating violence.
