Teen Mother Crossroads
The goal of this prevention program is to work with pregnant and parenting teens in Dent County to address risk factors and build protective factors by encouraging positive parenting, assisting them with completing/continuing their education, and provide education that will help young parents work toward self-sufficiency. Services provided include life skills workshops (topics include appropriate developmental expectations, positive parenting techniques), mentoring, financial literacy education.
