Responsive Grants

The following agencies and programs were awarded Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) Responsive Funding Grants for Fiscal Years 2025-2028 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2028):

Community Partnership of Rolla | Protecting Our Most Vulnerable
This initiative uses primary and secondary prevention strategies, including public education, about the increased risk of abuse and neglect for children with disabilities with special attention to those who are most likely to interact with the victims and support to reduce stress and increase knowledge of families of children with disabilities through education, support groups and respite stipends.

Fathers & Family Support Center | Family Formation Program
Through this initiative, Fathers & Family Support Center continues its efforts to educate high-risk parents about the negative impacts of child physical abuse and neglect and equip them with alternative techniques and community resources that will help their children grow and thrive in a healthy and safe environments in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County.

Mattie Rhodes Center | Mattie Rhodes Center School-Based Services Program
This school-based program provides mental health support services in partnership with selected KCPS sites to marginalized youth (grades k-8) in specific school districts that are largely underserved and mostly Black and Latino and from immigrant or refugee families. Mattie Rhodes’ team of in-school therapists meet children and families in familiar settings during the school day.

PATCH of Chillicothe | PATCH Turning Points Project
This project combines parent education classes with supervised offender mother/child visits in PATCH visiting rooms. There is also an ongoing offender support group to help offender mothers become more effective parents; thereby reducing the risk of abuse or neglect.

St. Louis Crisis Nursery | Keeping Kids Safe
Offers vital resources and care for children, 0-12 years old, during family crises that put their wellbeing at risk. Guided by evidence-informed prevention models, including Strengthening Families Protective Factors. Programming targets underserved families to increase equitable access to vital prevention services. Intervention and outcomes focus on addressing immediate risk factors while also building protective factors for long-term success.
