      As Missouri’s foundation for child abuse prevention, the Children’s Trust Fund’s (CTF’s) primary responsibility is to provide grants to community-based agencies and organizations throughout the state that focus on strengthening families and preventing child maltreatment.

      As part of its mission, the Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) engages in public education campaigns to heighten the awareness and importance of child abuse and neglect prevention.

Parent Leadership Month

National Parent Leadership Month occurs every February to highlight parents’ roles in the success and happiness of their families. Parents are the cornerstone of child abuse prevention. When parents are met with the resources, support and community they need, they have a greater capacity to care for their children successfully, and abuse is less likely. Support and resources can come from social services, home visiting services, a sense of community and belonging, & more!
