Funded Programs
As Missouri’s foundation for child abuse prevention, the Children’s Trust Fund’s (CTF’s) primary responsibility is to provide grants to community-based agencies and organizations throughout the state that focus on strengthening families and preventing child maltreatment.
Since 1983, CTF has allocated $107 million to community organizations statewide for prevention programs and initiatives benefiting Missouri’s children and families. In addition to state funding, CTF administers federal Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP) funding and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funding made available through the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), as well as Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) made available through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and Medicaid funding through a partnership with the state’s Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) on an In Lieu of Services (ILOS) for home visiting.
