The Investing in Our Families Project is part of the Randolph County Caring Community Partnership. The project incorporates the Strengthening Families Framework Protective Factors in working with high-risk families with children ages 0-6. The Strong Parents, Stable Children Curriculum and Parent Cafés are used to engage families and promote parent leadership. The program works with existing community partnerships; Responsible Fatherhood Systems of Care; and Focus on Fatherhood Networks in Boone, Cole, Pettis, Randolph and Saline counties. We spoke with Brian Williams, Executive Director, who says Investing in Our Families is designed to focus on family strengths and help families build protective factors for their children.
