As Missouri’s foundation for child abuse prevention, the Children’s Trust Fund’s (CTF’s) primary responsibility is to provide grants to community-based agencies and organizations throughout the state that focus on child abuse prevention and the support of children and their families. Each year, CTF awards several types of prevention funding including general prevention grants, discretionary grants, Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP), and CTF license plate marketing partnerships.
Since 1983, CTF has allocated over $42 million dollars in funding to community organizations statewide for prevention programs and initiatives that benefit Missouri’s children and families.
The 2012 (Fiscal Year 2013) CTF Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Grant Application for Funding was released on January 13, 2012 with an informational meeting scheduled for Friday, January 20, 2012 from 10 am – Noon in Room 500 of the Truman State Office Building, Jefferson City.
