As Missouri’s foundation for child abuse prevention, the Children’s Trust Fund’s (CTF’s) primary responsibility is to provide grants to community-based agencies and organizations throughout the state that focus on child abuse prevention and the support of children and their families. Each year, CTF awards several types of prevention funding including general prevention grants, discretionary grants, Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP), and CTF license plate marketing partnerships.
Since 1983, CTF has allocated over $48 million dollars in funding to community organizations statewide for prevention programs and initiatives that benefit Missouri’s children and families.
The 2013 (Fiscal Year 2014) CTF Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Grant Application for Funding will be released on January 11, 2013 with an informational meeting scheduled for Friday, January 18, 2013 from 10 am – Noon in Room 850 of the Truman State Office Building, 301 West High Street, Jefferson City.
